The VCU MBA programs is accredited by AACSB International, the premier accrediting agency. The VCU Online MBA is a 2-year cohort based program consisting of twelve 3-credit courses, six 1-credit courses, and three residency weekends, also 1-credit each.

The format is both synchronous and asynchronous – offering a synchronous evening video conference one night a week, in addition to online content.
